On October 26th, a Namibian delegation spent a full day in Antwerp to learn more about green hydrogen.

Upon invitation by the Namibian Investment and Development Platform (NIPDB), the visitors were welcomed in the Antwerp Port House to explore all aspects of the port and its energy transition. The dual fuel Hydroville passenger ship tour by CMB.TECH offered them a unique view on the different parts of the harbour.

To finish the day, the group visited the hydrogen production facility and refuelling station, that is already operational since 2019. In the attached workshop, they could explore how the trucks are being converted into dual fuel trucks running on both diesel and hydrogen.

A perfect sneak preview of what Cleanergy Solutions Namibia is currently constructing in Walvis Bay and will be operational by mid 2024.
